More gladiolus are getting ready to flower. Newer mix of wildflowers in this pot. Spreading them willy nilly equals few grew. Dumped 2 pounds last year, almost nothing grew that year. Some this year. Best in a container. Candy lily from nursery around the corner. phlox dh bought as bulbs...

I figured out exactly how. Even though the plants will root from vines, drowned in wet poo is not the answer to make new roots grow....🤦🏽‍♀️ I was worried the poo burned them, nope, just over saturated and rotted.... I can't find my sunflower seed packet, will have to order online and try...

Well...I killed lots of plants by topping with rabbit manure. Idk wtf, but that's the only difference. 😭🤦🏽‍♀️

Serious pond damage over the weekend. 2/3 water gone, 1/3 under the liner. "Refilled" visually, as there's no way that much water can be added that fast. Waiting for the water under the liner to absorb through the clay. Already planning how to rebuild up at the new house.

The mulberry cuttings keep failing, so, using fruit/trees.

The water timer has been acting up and not getting water to all. fixed it and then upped how long water is on for. Seems to be working again.

Well, oops. Two days of heat before I realized the poo cap was preventing water getting down. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I may of killed some of them... gladiolus repotted again!

The gladiolus are finally thinking of flowering! We'll, Just this one. Added a stake for support, FB is full of flopped stalks. The freesia have failed, they're still like 2-3in tall.

Last day to pick them. Rest will be left alone. I wish the reds tasted like red cherry candies...

Yesterday's are frozen and moved to bigger containers. New ones washed and laid out thin to freeze. Once frozen, they sound and look like those 90s altoid candies... 🤤

Moved them. Most hardly grew roots. Ones in morning shade are still green. This one has seeds One sad in the sad bin...wtf the sad ones moved.

The d somethings are looking sad... The abandoned plant doing great. Spaced the sunflowers further apart. A gladiolus is finally going to flower!

Gross bug poo...Gotta net them next time. And junebugs have found the strawberries, which still refuse to put out berries! 🤬 Ad to net them to stop damage.

Started gathering and freezing some blackberries.

Sunflowers sunning If it won't be until next year, since they were just seeded, should I bother with trimming? Was telling DH about this stray corn. I was amazed the cows hadn't eaten it yet. Jinxed myself. They ate it over night. Fenced it off now, though.
