:)

Well, why not?

No, that floor isn't sloping. There's actually storage under that angled part there in the back. Probably not real useful but it is a small building and there wouldn't be much space wasted.

No, the floor is level. I can find some picture of the interior but it is a little confusing. I think you can probably imagine. . . yeah, the ceiling slopes ;). And, it is fairly spacious in there.

Kind of eliminates the need to be concerned about roof slopes, tho'. I mean, the thing is a b▫o▫x! It would need to be kind of a high box because the roof would be sloping down to the back and there is a need for head-room. But - Imagine the view you'd have from your little garden office by elevating the floor like that!

I can't remember how I came across that the first time.

I went ahead and opened a Pinterest account about a year ago - talked about it on here. My board has to do with buildings and Pinterest makes suggestions each week. I think that is how it turned up a 2nd time. It takes awhile looking at something like that before the wheels begin turning and you can see how it might be done.

I visit shedworking.co.uk and cabinporn.com on a regular basis. The shedworking idea is really for just about everybody with a backyard. It won't be the one above but I may yet build another structure in the backyard for me to hang out in or . . . just for storage. It would be nice if it looked okay even if it is just a "shed."

The one above is something a little different than okay - it's an exercise in how could I possibly do that?!

Gotcha. The math makes me resist it but the challenge appeals to me. Question is "could I get DW to agree to letting me build that?" :hu
