Wow, things are really popping where you are. I love the tulips, they have been blooming the past week at the neighbors and I love them. The woods around here are popping to, wildflowers are blanketing the ground in all the sunny clearings, the dogwoods and eastern red buds are blooming, and the creek banks are covered in beautiful flowers. The hyacinth have started to die off but the grape ones are still going strong as are the second round of daffodils. And the lilac, wisteria, and Japanese magnolia are all blooming. You can tell the honeysuckle, and roses will be here any day. If this sudden cold weather we just got, and are going to have the rest of the week doesn't damage anything.
Some more pics from the same park. First the flying flowers, but it was chilly yesterday here and the weren't very active so I didn't get many shots. I was most impressed w/ the beauty of the chrysalis, several looked like jewelry.
