I imagine that I can pretty much see into every neighbor's backyard. It's not really true but there's satellite imagery
. No clothes hanging on lines to dry.
My washer's load of towels will be out there soon. Drivers-by and people on sidewalk would have to look just at the right moment to see them, hanging under the deck roof. If there were white clothes, they'd be behind the towels. More discreet that way ...
Not sure if I should bother. The last 2 times I hung jeans out, they had to be brought in later to hang over the backs of chairs. It was a windy 69°f yesterday afternoon. There was a brief hailstorm followed by a briefer sprinkling of rain. The furnace has run 4x since I got up at 3:30 and it's 41°, outdoors.
Only a short while ago, a double-hung line full of clothes would dry in 2 hours on that shady deck. So ... it's supposed to be a clear-sky day with little wind, worth it to hang those heavy towels out ...
