Yesterday I was in town for a dr appt., one hour, 15 minutes, very thorough, signed some kind of drug contract, got my tramadol, NOW I sound like a whinykins! ![:\](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/side.png "side :\")
Drove to Lowe's, went to Customer Service to see if either or both of the Lowe's gift cards had any cash on them.
AGain, the $50 one didn't show any money, and was the same as last time I tried it there.
I am willing to try one last time and have a clerk run it instead of me.
The $25 gift card worked, so I bought a 5-pack of lawn/leaf bags (for yard cleanup and convenient burning,) and, since it looks like one or NONE of the three 2024 blueberries survived the winter
, I bought a midseason blueberry.
Instructions say to transplant 6-8 weeks after the last frost, which means late June.
I am having my sweet potatoes and canopy babysit it right now, bc I will be checking on them every week, if not more often.
I plopped it, packaging and all, right in the middle of the tomato caging.
At some point soon, I will need to transplant it while it grows indoors, and a small pot might fit on the outside of the sweet potato "plastic blanket." I have saved used ziploc bags for such purposes.
It needs to be growing in the basement for a full 3 months. By that time I will know if any of the blueberries survived and where in the "garlic patch" it will be transplanted.
