I had my last home physical therapy this morning. Right knee bends to 96 degrees. All r leg exercises look good.
Still, crummy sleep last night. I ended up taking 30 milligrams of melatonin to get knock me out.
I get my staples out tomorrow and start Clinic in house physical therapy next...

All I know about dehydrating with my family is this:
1) DH is the one who first bought a dehydrator and wanted/has since done beef jerky with it.
2) DH and 2 DD's love beef jerky, me, not so much
3) I was gifted a used cheapo...
I met a woman with a property adjacent to a farmer's field. She brought it heavy landscaping rocks and "Planted" them where the farmer's machinery would get damaged if run too close.
I have let saplings grow up against the farm field behind me, same reason.

Now that I have dehydrated 3 1/2 quarts (gave one quart to middle DD) of tomatoes that ripened on my kitchen table for the last month, not exactly sure how to use them. :hu
DH put some on a sandwich recently and like it.
Eldest DD put them on a frozen pizza and baked it and Hate them on that...

RE: Amaryllis, the big New thing for Christmas 2023 (and also for 2024), is "wax Amaryllis", which means that they chop off the roots, insultate the bulb in wax and claim that it will flower without any water.
My experience from last year is that our amaryllis Did flower, 4 of them. Ours was...
I think putting 2025 garlic closer to the house will help me a LOT with harvesting both scapes and the bulbs and their replanting. Located within visual distance from the back door is a better location for my garlic.

From my experience germination time for tomatoes depends upon their age. If they are Years old, they can Still germinate, though it takes longer. If you give up on them too soon, you could forget about them and they will dry out and die, which happened to ME with 35yo family tomato seeds years...
