Huh. I just don't like their stuff. I find peat based soil to be too fluffy and thus sucks as good soil for larger plants, but I suppose it's perfect for just seed starting.

Thanks. I personally ended up going with a dump truck of compost, black dirt and sand mixture. I ended up using two parts that to 1 part horse manure and this has seemed to be a good mixture to be draining while still holding moisture

Yep, familiar with that method, but appreciate the advice to make sure ;) I planted an additional 12 apple trees. I think two died, but otherwise stuff is good outside of these two crazy trees
