That is beautiful! Did you taste it? I don't like the taste of radicchio either. And apparently neither do bugs 😂. I had a row of it planted last year and while the bugs were devouring other greens/brassica, these expansion didn't have a single bug bite.
It is terrible. I dislike collards. And that is after I've tried many different ways of eating it. Everyone says to add some bacon but being a vegetarian that would be difficult 😂.
So, I've decide that I rather eat chard and spinach which grow beautifully here.
Oh and @seedcorn will...
It was a very productive day! My FIL and DH worked on the goat barn some more and even made a little gate/door for it today.
We had to move some blueberry bushes from near the goat barn to where our two big bushes are. That was a lot of digging and transplanting but we got it done. I also had...
Coffee is still not made but I'm making crepes for breakfast. It is one my families favorite breakfasts. My daughter is finally starting to eat some soft foods so this mommas heart is bursting with joy!
We are in a false spring. I know it's false but the trees don't. Peach, plum and nectarine trees are flowering. Blueberry is budding. Elderberry and mulberry trees are growing leaves. Sadly this happens every year and we get a freeze and all the flowers die.

So I have grown them in two different ways: raised up soil beds and on flat ground using woven weed barrier fabric.
Raised row worked well for one year but we still had strawberries that rotted from touching the soil. The next year I made the mistake of not thinning the runners that almost all...
Coffee this morning was not enjoyable because DD was having tonsils and adenoids out. She is 10 and let me tell ya, she is a champ! She did everything the nurse asked her to do without complaining. Please pray for a quick recovery!

This was no easy task but so glad to have it done. This is my strawberry patch I started last year. I have12 50foot rows in this patch (Almost 50ft) There were weeds, leaves, so many strawberry runners and...
I am using up some frozen cherry tomatoes for this amazing feta pasta. It also has homegrown garlic, basil and parsley.
Here is the recipe. I always double it and make it in a 13×9 pan and it lasts few days.
