    I'm going to plant Heritage/Antique Apples this fall. Their varieties like Grimes Golden and Virginia Beauty. These are apple from our ancestors long ago. I like the fact that theirs a part of history behind all of these varieties.

    Thank you everyone! ;) dickiebird, Yep I thought the spare fridge would come in handy one day, it will be used to hold bulbs now. I just have to keep an eye on them from time to time to make sure theirs ventilation and the bulbs are keeping fresh. Nyboy, I know your not suppose to keep bulbs...

    I canned a few buckets full of figs a few weeks ago. It almost seemed never ending with so much Fig Jam. I made it natural with just a little sugar and lemon juice, no pectin here.
