We are no longer exploring our space might be a point I was unaware that I was making.

I think what I dread most is my wife's cold feet. There I am in bed all warm and toasty when suddenly YAAAHHH!

    Happy Birthday wishes for Ducks4you!

So this late note will have to be a verry early happy birthday wish for next year!

    Coffee

I always laugh. Always. SpaceX has rockets going up every 6 days or some insane frequency... you cannot even make a good ufo video anymore because the satellite strings are that common someone will call you out. Humans are punching holes in the sky. Myself raised on the bombastic headline let...

    Coffee

Yes. Just a hopelessly helpless joke reference to a article I posted about what consumer reports found in my chocolate: Thread 'Lead and Cadmium found in Chocolate' https://www.theeasygarden.com/threads/lead-and-cadmium-found-in-chocolate.24945/

    Coffee

I went crazy and added a spoonful of cadmium and lead to my coffee this morning. Well cocoa anyway. I like chocolate and coffee. Or coffee and chocolate. It is nice on a cold rainy day.

    Too many smart devices!

I would like a lighter and longer electric pole saw. I have a gas powered stihl 15 foot pole saw and my manual pole saw. The electric could be the happy combo if they put the battery weight in the base and the motor and chain up high. Balanced weight would be the key for me, maybe biased to the...

    Drain Cleaning

I ate dinner in Costa Rica one evening watching lava flow from 2 vents on the top and side of a volcano some miles away and was so glad to leave asap. Turns out I can stand earthquakes and tornados more than an active volcano. Some people are built funny I guess.

You literally can make a pyroclastic cloud with that lye and hydrogen peroxide. Be careful!

Lead and Cadmium found in Chocolate

I dunno, there seems a use for all of it. The coal in the ground burns out as pollution because of the humates that so long ago prevented things like mercury from entering plants through chelation processes. Its one big circle. It appears more compost is needed.

    Too many smart devices!

Yeah so today Becky said "you know when you die I will unplug all that stuff". I love her dearly! She fusses at change but settle in fairly quickly. Then it is time to pester me for upgrades.

    Drain Cleaning

I get it! My favorite whine is "Honey, I have never done this before!" PB has played a part in a lot of those scenarios. Recently I even bought some pure oxaylic acid without the abrasive felspar that is in the barkeepers friend. It is hard to burn metal but I bet I overdo it one day and catch a...

Lead and Cadmium found in Chocolate

I read that the makers are laying the drying nuts in "husk dust" that has a lot of the lead basically. Hopefully changing procedures helps this because I am a late night chocolate cheater to the bone.

    Too many smart devices!

So I forsee a first world problem as I have sorted and organized my batteries and their associated tools and chargers to eventually turn off on command so the transformers are not energized for the majority of time they are not used. I have paslode nail gun batteries, ryobi batteries in...

Lead and Cadmium found in Chocolate

Can metals be taken up into the plant to cause the source of this problem? Are other nuts, pods etc at risk as well? Consumer Reports is said to be the testing source in this article...

    Drain Cleaning

Bar keepers friend is a common product that contains oxyalic acid. OA is lovely at reducing and removing rust. Also a common spray solvent found at hardware and auto parts stores called PB Blaster might help. It is a penetrating solvent that gets left on and will work its way between the threads.
