Aftermidnight, can you tell us the texture of these leaves? Are they rubbery or slightly felted? Are they stiff or soft? Did they hurt her hands when your friend pulled them up?

Don't laugh guys but I put a splint on one of mine. I only had 3 seeds of this one and somehow one vine was almost broken though. Made a splint out pieces of wooden skewers and masking tape, what ever works :)

@Zeedman , as soon as the dried on the vine pods have been picked and air dried for a few days they will be in the mail, My main objective with these are to get them spread around :). But I will taste test a few.

Update on "Only the Lonely" (RALPH'S ITALIAN) I had a look at it today, not only has it topped the magnolia tree and is making it's way downward, it has also branched and now threading it's way through the wisteria on the pergola, this I may be able to cover it if the weather turns.

Hard to tell from the pic but does seem to resemble an Aloe I once had, name escapes me :barnie. I posted the pic on another forum, these guys are good. Will come back if I get an answer.

@baymule when I read Seeds comments I bust out laughing, I called hubby and he burst out laughing too, this is how we treat GOOD friends around here, it can get pretty rowdy at times. Actually makes me feel like one of the family. Mind you this granny still has a wooden spoon;).
