Hey all, I'm revisiting this thread to see if there are suggestions for splitting things up?
Usually we only split sections if there are already a lot of topics that can clearly be put into the new sections.
I've been testing some browsing and posting and haven't seen an error or slowness yet. I wonder if it's specific to a certain area, time, browser, etc?
Thanks all! I've been digging into this and don't see anything that might be causing an issue, but will keep looking.
If you notice any other details that you feel might be helpful, please let me know.
We appreciate all ideas and suggestions, so thanks for starting this thread.
Basically we try to find the perfect balance between too many and too few categories. It's not a perfect science but we basically look to see if there area already a bunch of existing threads on a topic that might...
Hmm... the only thing I can think of is the "/unread" option, like:
https://www.theeasygarden.com/threads/2018-little-easy-bean-network-join-us-in-saving-amazing-heirloom-beans.21746/unread
Does that work for you?
Do you mean these items?:
I see the "replied" times are relative to the current time, but when I mouse-over, the times seem to not match. I'll look into this, thanks!
:thumbsup
Regarding a recipes section: I'm game for this (and so is @sumi ) if the members are down to help move threads into it and populate it with good stuff!
Digging this back up :)
It might be a while until we add an "article" system to TEG, but for now I'd suggest we run with this:
I can setup a "my garden" or similar type of field that will display in member's profiles
A member can create a thread about their garden, etc.
They can add the link...
Thanks for reporting this. I haven't been able to duplicate the problem. Can you walk me through the exact steps?
Anybody else having this problem, please reply with the browser and version, steps taken to get the error, and the URL of the page where you get the error.
Thanks!
