I hope people do add all season!
I can't be the only one who would look at tomato pictures for HOURS while seed shopping anyways. I absolutely love the dev\irsity of tomatoes that are out there, beautiful, colorful and flavorful. LOVE TOMATOES!!!!
They look like Tiger Melons to me!

You have had a crazy year of mislabeled seeds from all over! I haven't had that issue with any of the seed companies I've used. I've traded seeds with people and got mislabeled seeds that way. You have...
Yes Mary! I sure do grow those orange watermelons still too! I would never waste an awesome gift like seeds. :) I just make more room when I get a whole lot of new ones.
:D
Yeah, this was odd, even for those kinds of tomatoes. I've always found some odd ones with the garden though, I don't...
Maybe you guys can appreciate this, but I found this recipe and my daughter talked me into trying it. So I thought I would share. I have the cream mixture cooling in the fridge right now to go into the ice cream maker later tonight. As for the jam part, I made a Lemon Blueberry Jam earlier we're...
We grow and talk about so many different tomatoes. We GROW so many different ones. No two are alike, not even from the same vine. So come should off your craziest, favorite, smallest or most delicious tomatoes!
Here is one I got from our 'Black From Tula' tomatoes plant (almost rip but fell...
I've shot a few dogs with an air rifle in the butt. The smart one's never came back.
I've taken a few young pups to the shelter to find decent homes with people who'd care for them.
In the end, you are either responsible for your dog, or I'll be responsible for your dog's behavior. If I hear...
You know, I tried this with my popcorn. It was such a wonderful plan, huh?! My beans got so heavy even before the corn was done, it pulled the corn over and I ended up having to put the corn back up with supports for the corn and beans. It would be 1/2 dz bamboo posts later that everything...
I just keep a ton of golf balls in the nesting boxes. They lay and I collect. They peck a few golf balls and get nothing and they finally give up because they can't tell them apparent. Egg eaters don't enjoy golf so much. LOL
Oh goodness... I swear I've grown more chickweed then grass since I've gotten the chickens. Something about being devoured by ducks and chickens, makes it want to grow MORE!
I wish I could send our storms out west for you guys, inches and inches of flooding rains would really help you.
We have another storm rolling in right now. Its been day in and day out of storms for the last 2+ weeks. I've lost count. We're expected at least 2 more days of storms. I'm really...
Grapes here are very prone to black rot, I haven't gotten it 'yet'. What kind do you have?
There are some good grape options that are resistant to it you can try if you can't get it under control. :(
You did amazing for your folks. I know they can be stubborn, I'm glad my parents are close so I can help when I can. They want to move away to florida, but they'll probably stay long as they need.
I'm glad you are home and well. After all the work, get some rest.
Here are the weck jars with their gorgeous glass lids, and rubber seals. So very classy looking. Definitely will can some thing I can set out on the counter to look amazing!!!

As yummy as that sounds... I prefer the Dill. In fact, I got a ton of dill ready to go, but I'm lucky to get 2-3 pickling cukes every other day. All this soaking rain, a lot of the plants I have going have reduced production, less flowers, and less pollinators out in all this rain. :/
Thank you guys, I probably don't 'deserve' it. But I sure appreciate it. Definitely will get me psyched up about canning again just in time for my big rush. ;)
Here ya go Baymule:

And for the vodka, I use the cheap stuff. The fruit ferments and puts off its own alcohol and sugars. It actually tastes top shelf when its done! :P
