It depends on a few factors, how high will the sunflowers grow? How high are the sunflowers at time of wanting to sow the peas? How high are the peas supposed to grow?
You haven't had good Kale then, good Kale should be quite easy to eat and have a pleasant flavor and some sweetness if exposed to cool enough conditions.
Most of the stuff I find at even the good grocery stores here is just bland tough rubbish.
Annette there is obscure place here that sells...
PhilaGardener is correct lettuce has short viability. If I was saving seed I'd likely keep mine in a sealed container in the fridge to improve the life of the seed.
I've done germination tests when I was studying horticulture and if stored poorly it loses viability very quickly.
@Bluejay77 Mammoth Golden Cluster is indeed a yellow podded bean, it has flat yellow pods that are well coloured and I always found them to taste quite good.
Under my conditions it was quite a good climber and yielded well.
I finally have a working computer and what terrible news to come back to. I hope somewhere or something comes a long that gives you a roof over your head and some garden space! I can't imagine you without a garden!
Journey, Mandy is the only source I know as well. My understanding is that it was a hybrid and some folks who saved their own seed likely dehybridized it possibly unaware and this could lead to confusion as the seed sources dwindle as it falls out of fashion and seed gets passed around from...
I gave it a try but with the conditions I was receiving I still had problems so most things that had enough to be worth it were lifted and hung undercover to dry in the shed. Sorry for the late reply.
I had one bean produce pods so sweet they tasted as if they had been dusted with powdered...
Myself fine, the garden not good at all. We started of swinging between cold and inferno then we got about 2 weeks of daily rain and heavy stuff then a week of lighter stuff. If the mites were not killing the beans in the dry the rain had them sprouting in pods and nothing I could do about it...
I have considered releasing predatory mites but they are expensive and the conditions where my beans are will likely be too hot and dry for the predatory mites.
Don't worry I am not going to disappear permanently :) I might have some corn harvest photos soon from my Painted Mountain. I know some of you might like to be here instead of dealing with winter but we had a 114.8 day recently which might change your mind.
It is still going to be a bit till it is fixed, I'm borrowing a laptop in the meantime.
The gardening season here is going poorly we have had incredibly dry weather and incredibly hot weather, one of the days recently was 114.8. The dry weather has led to a massive problem with two spotted mite...
I've been out of the picture lately due to the lack of a computer, I manage to get on and sure enough there are a billion amazing photographs to catch up on.
I'd suggest caution as Horseradish can be very invasive under the right conditions and I would recommend you keep an eye on it as it does grow from root cuttings.
