Most of the produce is ripe and ready to eat NOW... so if you freeze or do canning it is a good thing. Or share it with your friends if you can't eat it all right away.
I got the photo of my volunteer tomato flowers. And to keep the soil moist I use vodka bottles turned upside down with the neck of the bottles near the roots of the tomato plant. Works great! I only have to water every other day or so even when the temps are over 100 degrees here.
Yesterday I moved some Dichondra from a special place Cherokee likes to take naps when I am working in the garden.
Since I had to get rid of my chickens, due to the HOA of the Condos next door to us! They even made me remove all chicken structures!!
I had a cute area set up for them! Now it...
Well, since my avitar is in an imaginary garden, I have a "staff" of gardeners to do most of the work.
Today, in the real world, I transplanted some violets to the backyard, in a bed with some purple and green Shamrocks. It is getting warm here already!
I HATE SUMMER IN TUCSON, AZ!!!
My volunteer tomato plants are all getting flowers. I should have taken a photo!! Silly me! I will tomorrow! I changed my Avitar! I love the Victorian era!!
I bought this Clematis plant last year at Trader Joe's. I moved it last fall. It bloomed in December. And is putting out new growth and flowers again. I do hope it will bloom all summer....

Just for grins I took the seeds and threw them out where my chicken...
I was tempted to stop by the vets office this am just to weigh him, they have a walk on type scale by the front door. I may do that maybe tomorrow just to see how much he weighs now.
I am starting to think Cherokee will be bigger than our last dog, Spartacus, who was a 150lb beastie.
Here is a comparison photo of him from the time we got him, until a few days ago.
He loves to roll out in the dirt! We have two huge pine trees in the backyard that are full of little...
We love our little fellow. But, we tried to crate train him in too much of a hurry.... In the past we have gotten pups at 9 to 10 weeks old. Cherokee was 13 weeks. Makes a BIG difference! He was too big already for a small crib by the bed, where you can stick you hand in and comfort them or...
Cherokee tries to be a help. He saw me pulling weeds and decided that he would do the same thing.
He is such a good puppy!! We are enjoying him very much!
We had fog with the last storm. You guys up there had it pretty bad. It was a bit foggy here but not like last time. I got up to take photos of our fog when it was a bit thick at 5:00am.
This is my front porch...
This is looking across the street.
I grew up in Southern CA. so I have seen fog...
