I want paths! I need them! From when I moved in I didn't see the backyard dry for 9 months. No joke. It rains VERY OFTEN here and that lovely black soil makes lovely black mud when it does. Wow! You are doing a lot better than me! I moved into a hot mess last year and after an enthusiastic start broke my wrist in a freak accident, had more snow than Ireland saw since the early '80s and then discovered a second shed… Which I of course HAD to dig out :confused...- sumi

Yes, the weeds have been prolific there and everywhere else in the backyard this summer. The tomatoes I grow there and the zucchini are doing very well too. LOL A very small one? Oldest Friend Coming For Visit.
Have fun! :) I'm waiting for one of my best friends, who I haven't seen in about 6 years, to come over to Ireland. She's emigrating and should be over before Xmas, depending on her visa processing. I cannot wait to see her again.- sumi

The Sun didn't Rise
That sounds awful, Steve. How do you breathe with all that smoke in the air? I remember having a huge wild fire a good few miles from our farm in South Africa years ago. We all coughed non-stop for a week. It was horrible! Hope it clears up soon for you guys :hugs- sumi
