It is snowing this morning in Minnesota! The 2018 vegetable gardening season is officially done for me. All beans have been pulled and drying in the garage. Now cleanup of the flower beds begins. Hope everyone else's first frost holds off for a bit.

@aftermidnight and @Bluejay77 checked the beans that are up and only Purple Dove has red veining.

I started half of the Paula beans and am happy to report that 6/7 germinated and are up. Still have 7 more Paula seeds that I will start later. Perhaps I'll put the next batch in the greenhouse to protect them more, since this variety is rare. I have never grown beans in the greenhouse before...

Lady Bug checking in for my first season of planting these wonderful bean varieties. Germinated some black valentine beans last weekend and they are in the ground testing that our Minnesota soil is warm enough and ready to go for the special varieties. Wish me luck!
