    Baxter Black was a real cowboy and always at the county and state rodeo’s in Oregon and several other states. Always reciting a hilarious poem to which he received long ovations from the audience. He was is poet I never forgot how he weaved thru the world’s issues with humor and style .

    Thank goodness someone else has heard of garlic icecream. Not many have and this is a strange flavor , it’s really good. People come from miles to the event every year . it’s great for a small town supports several small stores in our 2 block little town.

    @Branching Out very pretty leaves. That’s a lot of leaves . I’ve been tempted to gather all the autumn leaves dry them for a small wreath or table deco. I use the leaf blower and mulch with mower. I have to many trees and my raking shoulders are toast.

    Major bummer. That mouse found a treasure trove of goodies. Not sure what else to tell ya to eliminate mice…other that mice bate. Or bate a bucket filled with water trap , other traps… on the market. Even if planted in pots in my experience they will dig in pots.

    In years past I grew garlic until I was planting mice and vole bait. They luv garlic if planted now they come for winter snacks and are attracted to garlic bulbs and can cause underground damage that's hard to detect until it's too late.

    @Rhodie Ranch Garlic is a big deal in my little town here in the PNW . Every year we have the garlic festival. Lots of recipes and fresh foods to taste even icecream. -who wudda thought.

    Todays more clean up, trim the drive shrubs back, trim limbs from trees hanging down to far hoping they pop up removing the cones and end weight, limbing up some trees and mulchimg leaves.
