Coffee Diamonds has a few purple stems, I like it! This wigwam is where I grow 5 kinds for green beans. I planted it over an 4-5 year old strawberry bed and I'm still harvesting a few strawberries every other day.

2020 Little Easy Bean Network - An Exciting Adventure In Heirloom Beans !

@Bluejay77 Russ, I see you are watering your beans twice, once at planting and a second time a few days later. Could you explain how many days are between watering? I have always learned to water only once, at planting and then to wait till they come up before watering again. Because too much...

Loved reading of what you all are up to and seeing beans! This is my bean list of what I'm growing this year, got almost all planted. Tomorrow I plan to get the last ones in, the first ones are up. Planted 9 kinds for fresh eating, the rest are for seeds. (P) = pole (B) = bush OC = outcross...

    How ya doin'

Are masks optional or mandatory? Over here they are only mandatory in public transport but not for shopping. The only public transport I use is a 15 minute ferry with my bicycle. I've used it twice since March and worked from home the rest of the time. Gotta say I've loved working from home and...

    Self-seeding annuals

We liked the taste of spreen just fine, but as it grows to 2 meters tall and then sheds a ton of tiny seeds... all you get next year is spreen, not too great. I've grown it afterwards but took care in the season it bloomed to cut it back. We do like out NZ spinach and I don't mind that it grows...

    Weed taking over mulch

This plant grows in poor soil, and is there to fix it. It basically has deep roots and gets minerals there which are available for other plants after it dies. Use this plants as mulch. Also to fasten this process use lava flour(?), don't know if that is the correct translation. It's grounded up...

    Self-seeding annuals

New Zealand spinach self seeds and comes up through the old mulch. I've also had success with Russian red kale. Parsnips do this too and they can come up all over the garden as their seeds are so light, however those self seeded plants are often healthier than the ones i sowed myself. Magenta...

    n95 dust masks

@seedcorn The number of death from Corona is not accurate either as only tested positive cases are counted. The actual number is higher, which also goes for the amount of infected. Our government took steps just in time so our hospitals could cope with addition of extra IC beds. From what i've...

    n95 dust masks

If you wanna know what we think, read the other posts. 🤷‍♂️ As for your other post, that kind of thinking happens when you have a pathological liar in office. Seriously it maddens me greatly to see such a reaction to a serious illness that has killed well over 50.000 people in your country...
