    54 tomatoes staked and 45 more to go.

    We also have 30. Used to plant from 80 on up, but I think 30 well tended will be enough for us. When we had all those others, we canned more, and also sold some, and gave away a LOT.

    What kind of snake is this

    Continuing saga of the snakes everywhere....since I posted this pic, we have seen several snakes in the yard...but today gives me reason for concern. the next door neighbor killed a copperhead in his chicken yard. This is very close to us, and the grandkids had just walked away from visiting...

    The most wonderful time of year!

    used to. I would work till is was really dusky, then be scared I would step on a snake going to the house(we had lots of copperheads where we used to live). I miss being able to do all that. I am happy to hear you recovered from strokes and can still enjoy gardening!!

    Dont know where I have been, but thats the first one of those I have seen! I like that, and considering its capacity I think the price is fair. (coming from someone that squeezes every nickle.)
