    Your Weather 2023

I’m ready for the 2023 gardening season to be over. We got a decent amount of food from it but very little okra, peppers I bought were misidentified and pumpkins went crazy and over took 1/2 of garden. Will plant a garden next year but new owners will get to harvest a lot of the results...

Growing Goodness: The Joy of Organic Vegetable Cultivation

Worse thing you can do to kill soil health is turn it over. Organic uses chemicals-they are just approved chemicals by some person behind the scenes. Commercial farmers use manure and other “natural” compounds from the ground. They just have rules to follow as to how & how much they can...

Farmers using basalt to fix their Carbon

I read the article. Too many miss statements to go into detail. Just a couple 1). Farmers are encouraged to go minimum till and utilize cover crops. 2). Any farmer that doesn’t address soil imbalances is out of business. They have been doing that for decades using methods available to them.

They don’t. There is an exception that IF your supplier of organic feed can’t provide organic feed, you can substitute GMO. Many people paying for organic but getting just ordinary products. Organic labeling is the largest scam in agriculture.
