Thank you farmerJan for the suggestion. I went ahead and got a cattle panel. My husband cut some of the grid off so it has "feet" and he also drove in some 1/2" pipe that he had. It worked great. Mary

You have accomplished soooo much Bay! I want to get a cattle panel that's 16' x 4' to make a garden trellis. I probably need more like 3' wide so my husband will have to cut it. Can't find them any narrower than 4' around here. Question, should I cut some of the bottom grid off so I can have...

Going to be 64* and sunny today! Being sunny is what makes a difference and makes it feel so nice and warm. Going for my walk at 9:30 today. It will be 56* then but I know it will feel nice and sunny. Just need to make sure I walk on the sunny side of streets, haha. Mary

It has been chilly here at high 50's*. Windy which I think is coming off of Alaska. Finally this week it will be dry. Still chilly though and makes it hard for me to get motivated to get my walk in. Oh the problems I have. Mary

    Homegrown Herbal Tea

Amkusa, you've just motivated me to grow my own chamomile flowers for tea. We'll see how it grows. Steve, I love lemon grass tea and even have a plant. Strangely I don't use it. I remember my grandmother always making it when I was little and I really liked it then. Wonder if it will still...

Brrrrrr, I can't even imagine going outside in that weather! There has to be a way to keep that water unfrozen. I'd definitely try the logs and or look into a heater. I'm sure it will be worth it. Stay warm Bay. Mary

    Homegrown Herbal Tea

Well due to acid reflux I have had to forego my beloved jasmine tea. The only ones I can have are ginger, lavender, and chamomile. This is according to an acid reflux doctor who tested the ph of many goods. I'm surprised that ginger is ok since I think it's kind of spicy. I went to a local...
