We always have them here at the house but this year we seem to have 3x as many as usual. Evening is dangerous on the patio! I usually have three feeders out, but this year I have five feeders hung. They really are amazing little creatures. We have Rufus, calliopea, and black chinned.

Last year I watched our older doe eat on the rhubarb leaves... I thought that was really strange. Not like there isn’t anything else to eat in my yard!

And since I’m sitting here on the patio, here’s more purple I can quickly share with you.... and this isn’t the last of it. :hide The sunflowers were planted by the birds... my favorite garden helpers. The deer haven’t found the sunflowers yet!
