    More garden blooms

Gorgeous flowers Carol Dee!! Maybe one of these years I'll feel like I have enough growing and blooming outside that I can pick more than just one or two at a time for enjoying inside.

Big Flower Giveaway to Local's of LocoYokel

Your lillies are gorgeous. I just put three plants near my house that have red flowers. They look pretty goofy now being so far apart and so "spindly" as young plants so hopefully they fill in the space nicely next year.

Your ideas how to pickle cucumbers?

Not a worry of mine this year. Deer ate my vines over the weekend. :thAll I can do is try, and hope for the best until I get a fence around a garden area. But I love to make refrigerator pickles! Great for when you're just starting to get them to come on and you only have a few to deal with...

    Hi friends!!

Hey girlie!! :) You know, not a single hop cutting survived. GAHHH! So, I'm about 0/40 by now... HA! So, I planted a gourd plant on the corner of the chicken yard for this year. It's nowhere big enough to provide any shade yet, though... Maybe by September it'll be big enough to provide some...

    Hi friends!!

Hi all! I do miss you all! I will do better at plugging into the forums. :) Maintaining this property alone (the mister is still in TX - ugh) is a bit of a time sucker - especially this time of year, when I want everything to look beautiful. Some things never get crossed off the to-do list...
