So Friday I got up before the sun to be awake enough for a half hour drive to pick up a new chicken. Her name is Cadbury and she laid a teal egg today! My phone is giving me a fit so I'll post a pic of her later
Just harvested my first ever crop of potatoes! They're tiny but the plants died cause I'm an idjit and used garden soil in a container. I'm just glad I got this many. Gonna try getting some to chit so I can start more before the good weather leaves.
My bales look drunk lol. They've sort of collapsed a bit and started leaning. My tomato plants have given lots of fruit it's just taking a while for them to ripen. Some I've had to ripen on the window sill. I never thought about using it to create an in-ground garden though. I laid chicken wire...

I actually have never been able toget flowers except a fluke with some sweet alyssums. Hoping to get a cutting or two from my neighboor of her roses gone wild :-)
I have to agree with the tinyness of possible flame from my extremely precious and hard won SBG.
On a lighter note i has another tomato! Its a roma this time and a butt load of beans on the 'bush' beans (look like pole beans to my inexperienced eye, gotta love out crosses) and my squash...
