I just have ducks, but our fence isn't high enough to let them free range in the yard, so they have a large enclosed pen. Lots of duck predators here. I do spread their spent straw on the garden for mulch, since duck waste isn't hot like chicken waste is.

I grew bush wax beans starting the second year, but didn't grow pole beans until this year. I like the wax beans, but I'm sold on the pole beans. I will be planting a lot more next season. I love the ease of picking the pole beans.
