    I thought there was a thread for straw bale gardening here but can't find it so will post my ? here. Would it be a good or bad idea to buy straw now and leave it to break down over the winter then put the fertilizer on in the spring? Thanks.

    We're planning a trip there in Oct. Charleston will be as far east as we will go. We're in NEOK and will be going down hiway 60 much of the way. We like the back roads. Well be also going through Tn. and Ky. Any suggestions on things to see. We're not into chain restaurants we like flea markets...

    butterfly milkweed has bugs (lots)

    I had lots of them last yr. I did a lot of squishing and dumping in soapy water. They are also called milkweed beetle. I have them this yr but not as many. I have more aphids on all my milkweed plants this yr. YUCK
