I planted a lot of cabbage this year and now at harvest Im finding a lot of green worms that eat holes in the cabbage. Prior to this I saw many white butterflies over the garden and I think they are related.
The cabbage was salvageable, pull of enough leaves and its still seems good to store...

I have about 6 plants of swiss chard. I got the seeds from a seed library and I am suppose to let some go to seed and send them back.
Its a red chard. Can I harvest just a few stalks/leaves from each plant and expect more to grow so I can harvest more later? should I cut the whole plant down...
I see that rhubarb is generally sold a root stock but Im not willing to spend $12 for them. I have some rhubarb seeds. Is there anything special I should know about getting them to sprout and grow?

my potatoes got blight this year. From what Ive read it can be caused by too much overhead watering. Last year no problem but this year they did get more overhead watering due to the potato patchs location close to the other veggies.
Next year I will water them with a soaker hose and move them...
