It's been hot out here, right around 90 or so with a heat index in the 100s. Everything is looking good except for some leaf curl on the tomatoes but I think it might be do to the heat so I'm soaking them good in hopes that it helps.
This is the first time that I have had stems/suckers growing...
The nutrients get all mixed all together as recomended by the mfg. but the first time I foliar feed I use half strength then a week later I re-feed at full strength then feed weekly.
When I feed them I spray the leaves in the evening and spray the leaves until the nutrient mix starts to run off...

I ordered there GO Box for at the house but we get the same nutrients in gallon jugs at the farm.
I plant all my tomatoes at the house in pots, and were slowly planting more and more tomatoes at the farm in pots.
We use a lot of mycorrhizae, they come in the soil we use and we dust the roots with it during transplanting. Our other tomatoes were transplanted earlier but there roots were...
Decided to transplant the couple currant tomatoes were trying out of there 4 inch pots into 6 inch pots. This tomatoes were planted about 8 weeks ago and showing promise.
Great set of roots.

The New Yorker should be resistant to V - Verticillium Wilt (Vert), A - Alternaria Stem Canker, and EB - Early Blight.
Heirloom tomatoes can be and some/most are disease resistant, remember all heirloom tomatoes were at one time a hybrid tomato.
Example the New Yorker was a cross of (Geneva 11...
@majorcatfish
You could add some black plastic around the plant to heat up the soil and possibly kill the fungi. You can also cut off the badly affected leaves and use a selenium nutrient like Rino skin, the selenium will make stronger cell walls in the leaves and should help with the wilt.
Thank you @Collector
There growing like weeds and I didn't realize it until I posted that comparison picture and saw how much they've grown.
The other day saw some buds on the already and we pinched the off to let them grow some more.
What a difference a week makes.
We had a day or two of rain and we did a good feeding and these little girls are looking great.
This a picture of one of the JTD tomatoes from almost a week ago compared to today.
A week ago......................................Today
I understand, it's a good tomato and my be on my list to try next year.
I was just wondering what the average seed to blossom time was. I know the tomatoes we planted here are was ahead of time for some reason.
Just out of curiosity, About how long did it take your New Yorker to go from germination to bud? I as only because when I went out to check on my tomatoes (none are New Yorker or what I would call a early tomato) I was surprised to see bud clusters on them.
The tomatoes are JTD, Marglobe...
Yes, there is all ways the treat of runoff and ground water contamination.
But the threat is much less when using a organic nutrient rather than a chemical fertilizer. It's like I said in a past post its all about feeding the right fertilizer or nutrient at the right time.
The thing we have to...
@ducks4you
I agree with the things you said except where you said if you over fertilize you will have many, many leaves and not too much fruit, that part is incorect. If your feeding a balanced fertilizer or one that has a higher
phosphorus amount than the nitrogen then you will have a good...
