Thank you. I'm considering that maybe I missed some important steps that I should have done for pest control. I had a bad snail and slug problem too, so covering with plastic over the winter should kill off any snail eggs that might be in there that I haven't gotten? I was alla thinking my bed...
Hey major, any idea what might be a good time if I can make it on Friday and what the cost would be? Also, I am already trying to plan differently next year. After this season is over I'm going to pull up everything and dispose of all the garden waste, but do I also need to clean the beds off...
So is my garden doomed for sure now? We can't use any tomatoes that come off and appear ok? What about my other plants? Can we salvage any of our veggies to be consumed?
That would be fantastic! Everything was going great for me until we had a week with very very bad rains and winds and then it all started going down hill
And I have been watering now with a watering can right at the base of each plant. I also have different types of lettuce and peppers and broccoli that hasn't been affected at all, but my corn did have some damage from the beetles
Everything is in raised beds because our soil is terrible and we also live in base housing on a marine corps base and I'm not alowes to dig up my whole back yard lol, but I'm loading pics now. Just yesterday I went and took off all the tomato leaves with leaf spot and trashed them and now just...
I just moved to north carolina this year from Massachusetts so I'm having a real struggle figuring out this new climate, but so far this year I have dealt with blossom rot on my early girl tomatoes which I finally fixed, then leaf spot that seemed too spread like wildfire over to the big boy and...
I liveon the southeast coast of North Carolina, and we have had times of way too much rain and then weeks without a single drop and high heat and humidity
I have over the past week noticed that my sugar baby watermelon leaves have started to look like this in the picture. What's wrong with them and can I fix it? I tried Google images but it's so hard to figure out what it is. I also have been battling leaf spot disease on all my tomato plants and...
I have 3 different tomato plants that have leaves that look like that around the bottom in some places and the peppers didn't look like that until just after we had a huge rain storm. I have done anything different than normal in terms of spraying anything around them at all
So I'm positive I have blight on tomato and green pepper plants. What can I do now? Please day I can salvage this somehow. I love in coastal north carolina
It's in a 5 gallon container with a potting mix and soil mix, I water once daily unless it rains and then I don't water it. But the bottoms of the fruit all are brown or black and rotted
I moved it to a 5 gallon container and now this plant is producing fruit all with blossom end rot. What a pain this plant has been. Not sure what else to do to fix it. I added calcium. Then I tried epsom salt. I'm lost with it
I have an early girl that has ber pretty bad. I have tried all the tricks I have read like adding calcium, Epsom salt, etc. I'm at a loss for what to do. Can I stop it so that any more tomatoes come out ok? I picked all the affected ones and every time I check it there are more that show the...
