Oh, I'm not giving up on composting! But my pH on my garden read 7.28 - and the herb garden read 7.5 -
Here is the reading on the vegetable garden:
pH - 7.28 - very high

My moms words were "Wait until your father gets home" and when he did get home we got the belt and then had to kneel either outside on concrete or in our rooms by our beds - depending on the weather. :P and no, I don't think I was abused.
We had to do a soil test on our beds for the Master Gardener class and got the results back last week. The teacher went through everyones results and we were shown how to interpret the results and what amendments we needed. I think this was my favorite class.
