Oh my God Marshall, I have no idea what you just said! we used chicken poop and hay. I have no idea if the hay will work, but that is what our instructor used when be built our compost heap at the MG class. I also added some of my "almost finished " compost to the new piles and shredded...

    2 more compost bins

Yesterday was a beautiful day so sis and I took advantage of it and made two more composters! The two bins on the left are not quite finished - they turned cold so we added nitrogen to get them cooking again so they can be added to the veggie garden and the new flower beds next month. We had a...

Where do you keep your seeds?

I keep mine in a plastic tote inside the house, but was told the best place to keep them is wrapped in paper inside a sealed jar in the veggie crisper in the fridge. I know I have several that probably need to be tossed since they are old, but I'll do a germination test first to see if they are...

    Getting a Green house

On the instructions that came with the greenhouse, there is a part number for the clips. Call Harbor Freight and give them the part number and they will ship them to you. I bought 2 packs of them to have extras.

    Getting a Green house

Congrats on the greenhouse HD - I also have the same from Harbor Freight. I didn't seal my panels in, but I diid buy extra clips because it really didn't come with enough. Last weekend we had unusually high winds and it blew only 2 panels out. I do love my little greenhouse, but wish I had...
