I can't pick the paint, but I did finally get the OK to replace the kitchen cabinets and counter tops. Dew will only let me replace the lower cabinets though :(. We also discovered that the tub in the guest bathroom is cracked, so I have to order a new one.
Overall we should get out pretty...
Hey, I like color. Several come to mind in fact...
White, almost white, nearly white, is that white, that looks white, could be white, I think it's white, snow white, light white, dark white, medium white, paper white, bright white, dim white, soft white...
The schedule for tomorrow is set and unfortunately, I won't be making the side trip to Stokesdale. The training seminar will end between 10:00am and noon. That would put me home between 6:00 and 8:00pm tomorrow night. I have to take advantage of the time at home to get the new place fixed up...
Hair done? HAIR DONE??? I'd have to buy a wig! And nobody said anything about makeup. If I had my "hair" done, put on makeup then spent the night with the Major...the talk would never end
Cat's out of the bag now. Have to clear it with Dew first, though I know what she'll say. Timing is the key factor. If I finish up early on Friday, I'll head straight home. I owe the family some home time. If it's going to be later...I dooo love me some carrot juice and beef ;)
What a way to spend a Fathers Day. I have to drive to NC for a week. According to the pin for @majorcatfish, Ill be passing very close to him on my way to Raleigh/Morrisville.
I'm so very sorry to hear this Bay. It also hurts me to see you say her dignity is shattered. One definition of dignity is:
"the state or quality of being worthy of honor or respect."
You, my dear friend, have brought more dignity to your mother than anything in her current situation could...
How close to retirement am I? That depends on how long it takes me to hit the lottery :(
I fell on a job site a week ago this passed Tuesday (the 2nd). I think I have a broken rib. That's not making things any easier.
A defensive move...that's exactly what it was Bay. When the bank took the place I told Dew that I would do whatever was necessary to keep those kind of people off this road. If there was even a hint that it might go south, I would buy it. Two rental trailers on that lot? Are you kidding me? All...
That's my total hours this past week. Fifteen hours are travel that I don't get paid for. I've never been so ready for a weekend...considering I worked last weekend both Saturday and Sunday.
Well, it's not quite official yet, but we are under contract to buy a third lot on our little dirt road. It's adjacent to the lot we bought 5 years ago. We should close this coming week. I hope we do close soon because I'm off to NC for the week of the 22nd. The place was foreclosed on 18 months...
*shudder* Oh the sacrilege.
I rub mine the night before, then wrap in plastic wrap. The day of the cook, I get my drum smoker up to temp, and put the ribs in the racks. Into the smoker they go for about 2-2.5 hours. I then put a half inch of apple juice into a large pan, put my bread cooling...
I haven't had time to read this entire thread, but am posting in reply to the OP. I don't know what your neighbor is using, but hydroponics doesn't involve soil; it's a whole different growing medium. I can think of three ingredients that are of use to every garden, N-P-K. Yep, Nitrogen...
I did a rack of ribs and a huge of mess of country style ribs in the drum smoker. Had a great, busy weekend, then went back to work yesterday and worked 17.5 hours :th
