One bird that empies my feeder in5 seconds flat, on purpose, are the jays. We get Stellars jays and Eastern Blue Jays, and they swing the feeder around until the seed dumps on the ground, because I think they prefer to eat it from the ground. Mess makers! My chickadees and nuthatch don't care...
PB Blaster is my ultimate trailer renovation product - helped me get out all the rusted in screws all over the trailer, plus I discovered the other day it MELTED OFF the silver roof sealant someone painted all over one of the drip caps, yes!!
Egads, I don't even have my studs on yet! Nope, not ready.
I did read some mumbo jumbo about us having another winter like last, not much snowfall...while I like the sound of that, we really need the moisture.
You all need to get a Honda Element, its got a plasticy inside you can spray out with a hose. Looooooooove mine! Only problem is they don't make them anymore.
Oh cute cute cute! There's actually a Berner club here in the Flathead valley and they walk all their Berners in various parades together, even the Halloween parade!
I smile every time I use onions...which is all the time, because I used to throw a fit about them when I lived at home. Picked them out of everything!!
I have purchased lots of Bobs Red Mill products, and love their coarse ground corn. I buy their dried soup mixes, ground flax, lotsa stuff. Its very common in grocery stores here.
The vet FORGETS.?? That seems really bizarre, do they not keep any type of records?? Of all the things you don't want forgotten, its that the vet gave you dog its rabies shots on schedule. If there is ever an incident of dog biting person, its a huge issue and usually results in euthanasia of...
Hi Alli, from Montana! I've spent a number of vacations in southern Utah, looks generally like drastically different garden conditions than I'm used to here! We look forward to pictures of your farm!
Nice! My mother-in-laws tongue is a great houseplant, I rescued it out of a dumpster and no matter how much I neglect it, it always looks good. Mine seems to like being crowded in a small pot too!
Yup, Lucy is not doing any of that stupid ball-chasing crap. But we still have our chuck it stored away for the future, cause that thing is a lifesaver!
Yup, just emailed a thank you to my Gran for sending hubby a birthday card. I'm bad about remembering to send birthday cards, grandmas seem to be the best at remembering those things!
I agree with Bob, too many apples. A "pusher" would help - cut a scrap piece of wood so it fits down inside, small enough to get CLOSE to the auger but not so small it will get grated by it. Put some apples in and use the wood pusher to force them into the auger.
What about...put your cut up apples in the crusher, add some boiling water (small amount) so the apples get warm and softer. Let sit a while. Try crushing then.
I caught a glimpse of the eclipse outside the hospital I work at...between trauma calls and general pandemonium. It was just absolutely crazy yesterday, so I could sure do WITHOUT another blood moon eclipse for a while!
Sold our fixer upper last year, and bought a new uniquely constructed house. Master builder, very particular, designed and did every bit of construction on our new home. Took him 4 years but its a masterpiece. Best decision we ever made!
Yeah, after one of you guys is done working on Thistle's tractor, why dontcha stop by in MT and double check MY trailer wiring? We have re-run all new 110 and 12 volt wiring in the newly reframed 1955 Aljoa, bought a "power center" where it all comes together. Now we're trying to find an...
