A pickle sounds like a great idea. Apparently good in a cocktail also! Or seasoned heavily and devoured of course. I'll let you know of failures and successes.
Par-cel? This is a leafy green parsley celery?
Cheers :) I just love washing the windows! And the floor is my favourite bit. I defo have a hammock @baymule! I got to show you. Too kind @ninnymary, perhaps we just need to see more of them!? ;)
Spring (summer) is finally, possibly happening. This is a shot of my orangery with the beds I made and a load of veg etc. hanging about and generally still having a good time of it.
Yes I did have a sweep! Fingers crossed :)
Made a radish chutney today with all the fresh spring pickings.
Chutney is as follows:
(Don't really do measuring that often)
Radish
Onion
Tomato
Chilli
Fenugreek Seed
Mustard Seed
Cumin Seed
Fennel Seed
Coriander Seed
Garlic
Red Vinegar
Sugar
Salt and Pepper
Picked, chopped, sauteed and...

I do like to use herb infused oils on the BBQ also :)
Rosemary, chilli, garlic etc. or sage on occassion. Perhaps that's just because my sage bush is out of control!
Borage here in the UK grows in the hedgrows and on roadsides prolificly. It must be a soil thing? They ain't fussy round these parts :(
Good luck indeed
I have a surplus of radish going on and have been eating them roasted recently, mostly as snacks.
These were roasted for 10-15 mins in black pepper, salt, fresh thyme and olive oil. Spread on brown toast splashed with a tad more oil. A nice taster in the day.
But..
Anyone got any super...
@digitS' Thanks for the link, I'll have a browse. La Madera looks quite nice actually, much flesh. I grew the Mayo Blusher last year and they were pretty succesful, not quite as good eating though, I assume.
I'm loving the sound of Moth Beans @TheSeedObsesser, they're about 25% protien...
