My dad actually gave me his personal propane heater to use today, the kind that goes on the little propane cylinders, but I'm going to try avoiding using it as much as possible to cut costs.
All of the plants will be spending the night out in it tonight as its supposed to be in the low 50s...
I built a small 6'x8' lean to greenhouse off the side of my storage building late last summer. It is currently unheated because the weather hasn't been clear long enough for me to finish building and installing the exterior wood heater I'm building for it. I have tomato and bell pepper seedlings...

As for taking the cats and having them tested that's impossible. Some of them belong to the neighbors and come to eat with them when my mom feeds them.
The best solution I know of to get rid of the filthy things and put a stop to it is to trap them and take them...
Does any one have any tricks other than putting up a fence to keep cats from using the potty in my garden? Would using coyote or fox urine or something of that nature help? Only problem with that is I'm then afraid it would attract coyotes or foxes that would then get my goats or chickens...
