We did this last year! Got the little female poults on my birthday, 12June, and we had to take our biggest one to the state fair in August? September? I don't remember... LOL Our biggest one was 20 pounds, but we also let them free range. By Thanksgiving we had them all at right about 30 pounds...
Ohhh.. here and there! LOL
Sometimes I take breaks from sites. I get busy, watch too much TV, spend too much time with the fam... you know how it is.
I WISH I could consider it a dwarf.. but I don't even know if it's going to make it! o_O Any idea on how I would fix it???
Lets see... today.. we got more dirt for the garden.
LAST year, hubs thought it would be a GREAT idea to remove all the dirt between the raised beds so we wouldn't have to worry about grass/weeds popping up... and then they all shifted. LOL So no he gets to FILL the paths between the beds...
I would LOVE the site to get the patterns for this! My daughter and her bestie are HUGE Dr Who fans and I would love to make these for them for Christmas!!

He backed right...
Our Greyhounds take care of any of the squirrels around here... LOL We've not had any full grown ones die really.
I take that back. We did have a couple juveniles get caught in some nasty mud and get tromped to death. It was very sad. :-(
We got that issue taken care of now tho, so shouldn't...
The market here is SO saturated with eggs here. We've all but gotten out of the ducks. We have 3 left. At one point I had about 7 dozen duck eggs and nobody to buy ducklings or eggs, so I was giving them to neighbors for free! Farm fresh eggs sell for around $2.50/dozen. That's not even really...
I'm originally from Ohio! That's one of the reasons we decided to get them. They do really well here in our mild winters and super hot & humid summers. I have some great contacts up there for some REALLY nice birds if you are interested. :-)
I really love my Buckeyes. My rooster is a big boy and...
Awww! It's nice to know I was missed! :-) Thank you RR!
TSO, I don't know that I was on when you joined. I've been absent for some time. :-) Merry Christmas to you too, tho Hanukkah has been over for some time now. (I only know because I have a couple Jewish friends.. otherwise I probably...
