Awesome Lucky!! I tried quilting when I was younger - thought it was too "fussy". Now I spend a fair amount of time doing "fussy" sewing and especially like hand sewing. My how we change... I never expected to get more patient w/ age.
I do sewing, art journaling, photography, crafting, working...
Nice for those "wealthy" people with their 3, 4 homes & planes :) But ... I am sure they envy me with my rebuilt garage (aka Gartenhaus), new toolbox (Christmas from Hubby:love)
Plus, I have a pink bicycle;). Life Is Good!
I have had the issue with old baking powder, also :(
Plus I think corn bread is a bit heavy by nature (I like 'heavier' bread anyway). Plus I think it should have a grit to it, 'cause it is cornbread!
As always - to each his own;)
We are big cornbread eaters! My recipe:
1 C Flour 1/2 tsp salt
1 C cornmeal 1 C milk
1/4 C sugar 1/4 C oil
2 tsp baking Powder 2 egg Whites, lightly beaten
Preheat oven to 400
Pour the oil into a 8" cast iron...
Dewalt comes out slightly behind Milwaukee here. Also there are several Makita tools on the bench. When I asked Leon (DH) he said it depends on what kind of tool - grinder, drill, saw, sander ...
digitS', you are so right! We have been laughing and crying and laughing for days ... we were blessed with such a character of a father! Thanks for the kind words and hugs
Seamstress?! Nope Carol Dee's much better. & Yep! She IS the Crafty one ;)Good genes yeah, but mostly I think we were raised being shown by our parents that you DO EVERYTHING YOURSELF and if you don't know how - try anyway. Carol Dee is so smart she can learn anything :bow and I am afraid of...
Carol Dee is an expert basket maker ... lets challenge her to make a cattail basket!!!! The ditches around here are full of cattails, so she has plenty of materials. Heck, I'll even gather it for her ;)
I would NEVER blame the Mail Man. My daddy was a Rural Mail Carrier:loveHard working guy.
BTW this would be the first piece of lost mail I have ever had ... suspicious ... ;)
