Purple banana peppers.... What the heck?

@Nyboy please keep up the joking! Laughter is something this world is in short supply of! :) It sounds like I need to add eggplant to next year's garden!

Purple banana peppers.... What the heck?

I wondered. That and the smog! I was a bit preoccupied to laugh initially! I've NEVER had or raised eggplant. Wouldn't know what to do with it if it smacked me in the face!:smack:th:lol:

Purple banana peppers.... What the heck?

I'm sure. I've taken very beautiful peppers off that plant. Then everything started turning purple like in the pic @majorcatfish shared

The 80s Are Making A Come Back

I don't decorate according to all of this. Truly beautiful dated furniture is from the 17 and 18 100s. Thick ornately carved mahogany bed posts. Paired with country rustic and shabby chic...... Done right makes for a timeless design that never goes out of style. Just my opinion. Lol

The 80s Are Making A Come Back

At the risk of sounding young, the best thing about the 80s for me was the cartoons and running around barefoot outside! Oh and the music!

Purple banana peppers.... What the heck?

It does look exactly like what I've had going on. But the peppers had more purple on them. Some were almost all purple. Lol. What is that?

Official TEG Poll: What is your garden style?

I planned the rows about 3 inches too narrow or I would run the tiller through! Probably not the best idea though. I'm just babying the watermelon, peppers, and tomatoes now...... I do have some pigs though.... And goats.... And the chickens and pigs love each other..... I'll start storing up...

Purple banana peppers.... What the heck?

My plants are so short and the peppers are so tiny. Before they reach a good size they are rotting. I don't know exactly what to do for them. I've cleared out the invasive cucumbers to give them room..... I don't know if it's the heat or too much sun. Definitely next year I will be planning this...

Purple banana peppers.... What the heck?

Just seemed very unusual. Wasn't sure if it's disease or something. Lol. I haven't tasted them yet but I'll give it a go. My green, red and yellow pepper plants seemed to have stunted growth. They are not doing good. They all came from the same nursery. I'm thinking that I need to find another...

Official TEG Poll: What is your garden style?

My garden is super lush and green......with grass! We've added so many critters to the farm it's made it hard for me to find the time to get in and weed it out. So next year it will be treated wood with deep lining, compost and good rich soil and hopefully i will be able to keep the weeds out...

Purple banana peppers.... What the heck?

I should add its just the stems not the leaves of the plant that is turning purple.

Purple banana peppers.... What the heck?

So banana peppers are a fav of mine on all sorts of sandwiches. This year I decided to grow and can some of my own. My four plants have been doing so good and been very productive. The last couple days I haven't really gone out in the garden BC I've had sooooo much farm work to do. I went out...

Piedmont Triad of NC here to say Hello!

So I grew up gardening next to my pop in a 25x50 garden plot, we had blueberry bushes and huge old scuppernong vines. We had peonies next to the house, a few rose bush/trees(?) And a couple dogwoods. My favorite was our birch and magnolia trees. Fast forward to present day, about 16-18years...
