How disappointing.... I am trying the Ruth Stout method which is using straw instead of soil...lets hope it works DH will be very upset if we dont get potatoes as that is the only crop he plants...the rest of the work is on me...
The only little bugs I know that eat peas like that are my grandkids...:hu I dont know of anything else that would hull the peas...critters would eat pod and pea
Tractor Supply will have some antibiotic you can add to her water...keep her wound as clean as possible...if she continues to eat and drink she may heal...it may take all summer...but if she is a favorite try to save her...
Hangin'...I havent even got my summer seeds in yet.... :he with all the rain we have been getting... :barnie I am quite envious that you are already thinking about the fall...
Thanks for the warning Hoodat...I guess I will have to give it an extra pole to stake it to...if it gets that big... right now it is tiny maybe 6 inches tall...late starting this year...
I got my heirloom seeds from Baker Creek Heirlooms
Off the top of my head as I am not at home to go check
Yellow pear is very prolific
Brandywine is of course the most flavorful it take a long time to ripen but it is worth the wait
Green Zebra looks like it's name it turns greenish yellow...
I'd let it ripen a bit first ...if you just put the poo in water I'd think it would be awfully strong...and it would burn your plants...but you could water it down like you would liquid fertilizer...
I have moved poppies and 1/2 the time they have died the other 1/2 they have thrived...I do know that they have a deep tap root and with out that root they will die...
It looks like the trunk has a borer??? I dont know much about Viburnum except that there is a pest that eats the leaves... I used DE early spring and have solved the problem...I had a bit of winter kill and trimmed it out...
