    Pumpkin help

    my grandfather used to inject milk in the vines but Ive never been able to get it in. He swore by it to get big pumpkins. I will try watering it in.

    Squash Vines

    this question was asked about pumpkins a couple days ago, same thing applies. Just let only maybe 2 grow on each vine and they will be bigger, clipping the vines wont make a difference.

    make sure they get lots of warm sun and lots of water and maybe a little fertilizer. I got mine in late and am beginning to wonder as well.

    thats funny, we had a pear eating cocker spaniel. he would take just one bite out of each one, we really had to make sure we got them off the ground fast.

    Pumpkin vine question....

    if i want a large pumpkin I just allow only 1 or 2 pumpkins to grow on the plant or 1 on each arm. Ive never clipped the vines.

    Italian Ice Tomatoes?

    i went out last night and checked again and there are some on. i think last summer was hotter earlier if I remember. my yellows have too, guess they are just slow. I only had a small patch to plant them so they look like this 5'x5' mass of tomatoes.

    Italian Ice Tomatoes?

    progress report - the one i thought was dead came back very well. Flowers but so far no fruit, but my yellow pears have nothing really so far either. I think last year this time I was over run so Im not sure. Should they have not been planted together?? I dont know much about that kind of thing.

    woo hoo, tomatoes!

    I harvested my first 5 roma tomatoes today :tools im upset with my yellow grape tomatoes though, last year at this time they were abundant, this year nothing.
