oh man! i won't have 'em 'til November! I was so excited! In November, i won't remember why i have them. Oh well, maybe we can plan better on where to put them and so forth by then. We have a lot of work to do around here anyway.
You're a wealth of info. Thanks!
Those kind of look like just sticks. Did you get those this year? Did they come like that or did they just lose their growth when it got cold?
edited to add: Thanks a bunch for showing the picture!
Oh, that's awesome! Thanks for the info. I don't think i have room for that many of those particular kinds of trees, but i couldn't resist, and i definitely have people i can share with.
Today i got a survey in the mail from the Arbor Day Foundation with promises for 11 free trees if i give them $10.

How can i not do this?!
one crepe myrtle
3 dogwoods
3 redbuds
4 golden raintrees
Anybody else get...

They're just for my blog.
I'm starting to realize how helpful a good seed catalog would be right now (or a couple of months ago), but i don't want to just google it. I would like recommendations.
Cost is a concern, of course. But i don't want to get the smallest price just to get seeds that don't yield much. I would...
The reason i suggested 159 instead of 160 is because post 160 claimed an item offered on post 155 instead of 159. Offer 159, i believe, is still unclaimed.
I think the last "legal" train post was #159.
Is that right? I'm not an authority on this or anything. I'm just at the computer and trying to be helpful.
For clarification,
on the train,
one person offers several items to CHOOSE from.
Person #2 wants something on the person #1's list, so person #2 posts with what she claims from person #1's list and then also offers new items for the next person to choose from.
So basically, you should be...
