Congrats! :clap
Hurray for Chapel Farm (love the name!).
I'm glad everything went well - I think your beautiful arrangement of the goods as well as your handsome little helper had something to do with it. ;)
I was going to suggest removing your real name from your profile, but I can see you've already done that. That should fix it, I think. :) Have you tried googling since then?
I had a job for many years where I was interviewed on the local TV news a bit and I've been in the local newspaper a...
Ooooh, I'll be keeping an eye on this thread as well, and I'll let you know if I come across anything. I've never heard of preserving veggies in olive oil! (but then again, I'm German - we're known for our sausages! heehee)
Thanks for the replies everyone! I was also thinking that I love ferns, but would like to get some native ones. Where does on get native ferms without digging them up illegally?
I found it near impossible to get the nails out without damaging the wood in one way or another. Not to mention it took me for.ev.er to pull them out. I soon resorted to cutting the boards with the jigsaw. Then I used a crowbar to get rid of the small pieces of wood left on the thick support...
And here I am, trying to get the birds to come INTO the garden to eat the pests! :plbb
I never thought to plant sunflowers to attract them, that's genious! :ya
Oh no! And I thought I had it bad with my cutworm infestation! Cutworms AND hail? You win!
Luckily we rarely get hail, and if it does hail, it's usually nothing to write home about. That being said, today is the start of hurricane season... :hide
I hope the plants hold out! I'll send...
Thank you! I was wondering about hostas, I do like them a lot.
I frequently cruise the neighborhood the night before trash day. People throw out all kinds of treasures! One of the reasons I got a mini van was so I could haul "stuff."
As a dog trainer I can say that that stuff works for some dogs, but not for others. Also, it won't work for digging. :/
Just some feedback before you spend money. Not trying to tread on toes. It's a good thought. :coolsun

I think slime molds are neat - I've never seen one in a garden! I think I would have had a heart attack if I had seen this on my plant - even though I know what slime molds are. I tend to overreact when it comes to things that might harm my plants. :P
This is a hard one. One year, DH decided to bury the remains of a shark he caught (and we ate) as fertilizer in the garden. He just did this without consulting me. I would have been more reasonable - as always. Hours later we had two dogs that were stinking to high heavens and one of them was...
