Yep, I checked the weather this morning and rain for the next week. Just like it said for the past 2 weeks. I guess God and Mother Nature is making up for the very bad drought we had last year here in Georgia.
I wish we had a good free resource around her to spruce up the yard. The only one I can think of is weeds. ha ha ha

I guess true gardening is for the ones who LOVE the outdoors. Since it is every changing. But that is fine with me. I get off at 3pm and stay outside until 8pm pretty much everyday. I dislike making plans with others because I won't get to play outside.

I was going to start a topic about this. My question is, Why thin the seeds to a certain distance between each plant? Why not just plant them the correct distance to start with? My DH said what if every seed doesn't germinate, I replyed by saying in each hole you could plant 2 to 3 seeds...
I know that this will not be possible but I think it would be soooo cool if we did a gardens tour of everyone's yard/garden on here.
As I said it will be impossible but it is a good idea.
You should watch the move "Dick & Jane". They had a new lawn put in and could not make the payments to the landscaping comany and they took all the grass back and in the middle of the night Dick and Jane go steal grass out of peoples yard. Crazy!!!

Yikes :barnie you shouldn't have listed this link. In that one bed I have potatoes then pumpkins and then tomatoes. Which the last two are listed as incompatible with the Irish Potato. So what is a Irish Potato? Mine are red if that makes a difference.
