This is regarding the response from me&thegals about watering...Is it not good to water every day? I water each night for 15 minutes which is about 1/4" of water. Hoe should I be doing this?

I just purchased A LOT of new seeds that I don't need right away. I am wanting to know what information is important to write down for when it is time to plant them. Do you use a spreadsheet? :tools

I am going to have to look into this for next year. I have only heard very little about it. Keep the post coming so I can learn more and maybe even post pictures of the your setup so I can get a better idea. Isn't there a book about this method?

Mabe they will cut something off the price if you get really mad at them.

Once you get a flyer created you could make tons of copies and you could put them on mail boxes. But remember it is illegal to open the mailboxes just slide them inbetween the flag and the box. Good luck!

I planted mine the same day as my last post without letting them harden off and now they are DEAD. So I will be getting up bright and early tomorrow to go to Lowe's and buy some more so I can get them planted before the sun gets to hot. Boy did I learn something for next year or what?

That looks really good. I wish I could suggest this idea to someone because it looks neat but nobody I know cares about sticking there hand in dirt or hay.

I wore a cute recycled hand made shirt to work and got called "Earth Girl". Also my husband and I talked about what type of tree to buy to plant this weekend for earth and arbor day while watching the chickens eat cucumber scraps. What about everyone else?
