I know this has nothing to do with pressure caners, but Katz I would like to thank you for replying to this post.
I drowned my old computer and lost a lot of things. In trying to remember all the things I had saved I did not remember this site and it was one of the ones I read daily during the...
My vote would be to name it Stevie LOL but honestly I don't have a clue. I think it is very interesting though and would like to know also what it is.

I don't reuse the canning lids, once they come off and the jar is empyt the lids go in the trash. I do inspect and reuse the rings thought if they are not dented or rusted.
Well, my friend gave me some butternut squash seeds she saved from a store bought one last year. I planted a few this year and got several nice squash. We have cooked one and it tasted great. So I say it could not hurt to try.

He finally took a hatched to...

As for the peppers, great I now have Bell Pepper envy...
As far as a recipe goes, I could not find one that I liked, so I made my own. I used ACV and for spices in the banana rings I used red pepper flakes dill, garlic, mustard and celery seed and salt. 1/4 teaspoon each. Don't know what they are going to taste like but, it has all the stuff I like...
