    How big will it get?

My butternuts ran like they were cucumbers LOL. Mine were inbetween the zukes and cukes, but they did quite well for the first time ever planting them and not knowing what to expect and the fact that the dogs dug up the first planting. Nancy

    I'm so hoping this isn't a weed...

I read once that a weed is only a plant that nobody loves. That picture does kind of favor a goldenrod, just never seen them fall over like that. The ones that I used to have here were straight and tall till the goats ate them all.

    Hay Bale Gardens?

I don't have any info on hay bale gardening but I have never staked okra. It has a very stout stem. To me bush beans mean just that they are a bush type so no stake needed there and while squash does vine somewhat I don't think there is any need there either. Nancy

Best Days Of The Month by the Farmer's Almanac

I use quite a lot of those dates, as I am never too far away from my farmers almanac. The cut hair for growth dates work. Last year my hair was short, very short, now is past my sholders. By accident I used the quit smoking date 15 years ago and had no problem quiting. The castration dates work...
