My third tragedy: I had planted a packet of wildflowers. I put some netting over them so the chickens wouldn't get them. And they didn't. So then when they were, I'd say about a foot tall, so I took the netting off because the chickens wouldn't be able to tear them up. BUT THEY DID TEAR THEM UP...

I think it should have it's own section, but it we'd have to have some discussion on it.

If you plant basil and marigolds around the tomatoes it should keep them away. We had LOTS of tomato plants last year and we didn't have a single squirrel! Hope it works!

Yeah, I grow it! I feed the birds, the seed spills out, and voila! I have a field of birdseed! Corn, sorghum, sunflowers, millet. :P I don't see why it wouldn't grow. Good luck!
