I am replanting today after my earlier rainstorm disaster. I think the peppers and tomato seeds probably got mostly washed away so I am planting more of those for sure.
georgia flame pepper
cayanne pepper
amish paste tomato
beefsteak tomato
pantano romanesco tomato
yard-long beans

I am planting another batch of seeds today (around making a chicken tractor for my meat birds that have outgrown their brooder already at two weeks old :/ ). I am replanting some of the same stuff as before and adding in some new. I was able to read what was written on a few of the pots from...
I am going to plant some more this week. Some of the seeds I planted before were the last of that variety so I hope some of them make it. I know I will be able to tell the different types of plants apart, it's just that I have several different kinds of beans, several different peppers...
We just picked up three more fruit trees yesterday and will plant them as soon as the rain stops. We just had to move our two-year old plum and nectarine trees and are waiting to see if they survive the move. If they do, we will have six fruit trees on the property. A plum, nectarine, orange...
I am going to start more, I just don't know what to start! I think most of the beans and corn made it but I'm not entirely certain. I guess if I end up with too many, I can gift the started plants to other people...
That's what I tried this year but of course we have had unseasonably warm weather so they haven't grown much for the last month. I'll still keep them in the ground just in case but I'm not holding out much hope.
Brussels Sprouts are my favorite veggie! I haven't had any luck the last two years growing them here, just gets too warm too quickly, but I still plant them every year just in case!
I planted a tray of seedlings sometime in the last few weeks. We have been having unseasonably warm weather so I had the pots in a plastic tray to help retain moisture. I put a few small holes in the bottom of the tray but I didn't want too much water draining out everyday since it was so...
Today I started a tray of seeds (with a little help from my 9yo). I planted:
Blue jade corn
Asparagus beans
Hidatsa shield figure beans
Calypso beans
Ireland creek annie beans
Amish paste tomatoes
Pantano romanesco tomatoes (I got these from a local swap and I'm not sure of the spelling)...
I just picked up a couple tubers at a seed swap yesterday but after looking up more information about them, I have decided to pass on growing them myself. I would be glad to send them on to someone who actually wants them!
I am doing the same thing, trying to keep my picks to a minimum. I would love to order just about everything in there, but I simply don't have the room :( .
I got my baker creek catalog today and sat down a bit ago to go through it. After about 15mins, I was drooling and babbling at the same time. There is so much fantastic stuff that I can't even process it all! I think I am going to have to go through it slowly over the next few days and start...
Can I offer you some? I have the following and I could at least send you some to get started with though I don't know how much you generally plant...
Joe's Long Cayenne Pepper
Amish Paste Tomato
Long Red Florence Onion
Pickling Cucumber
Sugar Pie Pumpkin
Scarlet Nantes Carrot
The following...
I imagine that there are chemicals in a diaper that wouldn't be in this product. The stuff in diapers is more like water crystals or water beads . The fabric you posted looks more like fabric instead of something that holds beads or crystals. Interesting.
Great. I love having strawberry fields all around me to pick from at the height of the season, but I wonder how many would end up using this and how many would tell the truth about it when asked.
I'd like the pepper mix and will offer:
Joe's Long Cayenne Pepper
Amish Paste Tomato
Long Red Florence Onion
Pickling Cucumber
Sugar Pie Pumpkin
Scarlet Nantes Carrot
The following seeds are organic:
Calypso Bean
Buttercup Squash
Crimson Sweet Watermelon
Mammoth Russian Sunflower
Blue Jade...
