Well, all of the late planted pawpaw were 100% dead. 😭 I bought 12 new ones and got 23 seeds. Will replant in the failed spots, then think about where I want the others. Also, got a rare variegated that everyone else passed on. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 Please grow & thrive!!

Mulberry cuttings were done with willow. I think I'll get some and chop it up to add to these. Hope some make it, need mulberry up here. Plus the dark shrub. I forget what its called.

Idk what this plant is, but trying to root it. And my hedges are growing new leaves! A plant that's almost guaranteed to root, just like willow. Lol

Yep, cukes are done. The previous very orange cuke *wasn't* ripe! Seeds flat & empty...So, leaving cukes on vines until fully dead. 😑

Yeah, never got any to sprout, so I kind of don't believe it's possible. Maybe they're supposed to be digested first. Tried soaking, wintering, scratching a side, in cup of water, in wet towel. Nothing worked.

The upgraded pond was put in 2020? Same filters, though. Just larger. 45mil epdm liner. 20×30×4-4.5ft. Have you gotten the seeds to sprout before?? 10yrs of mine dropping seeds in the pond, bog, ground & me trying to get them to sprout and nothing. 🤷🏽‍♀️

No. Have too many pickles already. Things that bolt here are lettuces, cauliflower, broccoli and such.

Home made. Currently on one pump bc I got sick of replacing the brand. 300 gallons of filter space. Then the bog. A bit over 1k gallons. Then plants along the sides of the pond. Not fully yet, maybe 25ft worth so far. 100ft in all. Last, a UV filter in spring & shade cloths.

Seems the yellow=end of plant is a lie. I've had many yellow and orange cukes, vine keeps going. Cucumber Beetle seems to be the problem. Ugh. I've seen a few, but don't want to poison the garden just to get cukes. They can be hand pollinated? What time of day? Probably going to net them next year.

Definitely not! All are pickles. Green, yellow and orange! 🥒🥒🥒🥒 And only the chickens eat them. No one else was interested. 🤷🏽‍♀️
